The Ontario 2014-2015 Care Guide

Staying at home is the preferred choice of most of us when we age.

West Toronto Support Services offers a wide variety of services to help in situations such as this.

The Care Guide is another online and print resource that brings you information and resources to help facilitate the process as-well.  Everything from Home Safety, including safety proofing your home in general and for those with memory care issues, to renovations, like making accessible bathrooms, including tax incentives to do so, are covered.

They also give you information about other Community Support Services, such as meals, social and transportation services, Adult Day Care, Senior Centres and Home Care Services that are available to make living at home easier for you and your care giver.

The Health and Wellness section gives useful information about diets, physical and mental exercise and emotional well being.

And last but not least, the Care Giving section addresses issues around care giving.
