The Movie: Sybil and Betts: requiem for a friendship is a ‘must see’ (video link)

On September 22nd, Alzheimers Society Toronto hosted their fourth annual film screening at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema – ‘Sybil and Betts: Requiem For A Friendship’. The film was powerful and had a very important message about living life to its fullest and the power of friendship.

“Sybil and Betts” tells the story of two remarkable women and their lifelong friendship. However, when Betts is diagnosed with dementia, Sybil must rally friends and family together to protect and care for her best friend, putting a new twist into an old relationship. The documentary explores the power of friendship to help us through life’s hardships.
