New City of Toronto website allows residents to see when streets get plowed and salted @TO_WinterOps #plowTO

Snow plowAre you wondering where those snow plows are and when they’re going to do your street?

The City of Toronto has created a new website that enables residents to see when their streets and sidewalks get plowed and salted. Appropriately called, PlowTO, this new feature gives detailed information on the location of the snow maintenance vehicles as they’re equipped with a Globe Position System (GPS) device.

The interactive map is colour co-ordinated when streets were serviced last; green within the last 4 hours, blue within the last 4-12 hours, and red within the last 12-24 hours.

Follow the trucks around Toronto in real-time to see where they are.

You can find this great new feature at: http://www.toronto.ca/plowTO.
