City of Toronto Historic Sites will be honouring Canada’s 150th anniversary #C150TO #mycitymysix

Throughout 2017, City of Toronto Historic Sites will be honouring Canada’s 150th anniversary with commemorations, special events and exhibits.

These celebrations are part of TO Canada with Love, the City of Toronto’s year-long cultural love letter to the country. On this page you will find all events hosted by the City of Toronto Historic Sites – but there’s even more going on throughout the city! Be sure to visit www.toronto.ca/canada150 for details on additional celebrations hosted by the City of Toronto.

The City of Toronto is asking residents to share a story in six words as part of the “My City, My Six” exhibition this fall in support of TO Canada with Love.

Toronto’s Poet Laureate, Anne Michaels, has created her own six-word story (“We belong where love finds us”) as an example and inspiration for those who want to participate.

A Community News blog post

As part of our communications at West Toronto Support Services (WTSS), we write articles about events and news in the community that closely align with our agency objective of living independently and promoting your health & wellness.   An article posted under community news doesn’t necessarily mean we endorse them – they are articles of interest that you can pursue further.   We believe a healthy community is a diverse and connected community!
