Show your support this week for our amazing Volunteer team!
Volunteer Canada and West Toronto Support Services (WTSS) celebrate Canada’s 12.7 million volunteers during National Volunteer Week (NVW). This week is set aside each year to recognize and thank volunteers around Toronto and Canada for the time and energy they contribute to causes that benefit our communities. NVW is also an opportunity to promote the benefits of volunteering to individuals and society as a whole
WTSS currently has 123 active volunteers and we’ve had a total of 11,887 volunteer hours in our last fiscal year. They help in many of the departments here and are critical to the operation of several services.
►► If you meet any of our volunteers, take a moment & show your appreciation by:
- Just saying ‘Thank you’ and acknowledging the work they do.
- Talk to them! Get to know the many faces of our volunteer team.
