Yesterday, Alzheimer Society of Toronto conducted an excellent workshop right here at the West Toronto Support Services Office and there is another one scheduled for October 18th. Please see details below!
All of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto workshops are led by social workers and education coordinators – packed full of useful and relevant information for caregivers dealing with dementia. As a caregiver, you have many diverse responsibilities. These programs offer educational, engaging and interactive experiences to support you in this role while learning from a group of your peers.
Learning from your peers is the surprising benefit of these workshops for many attendees. It’s important to make time for yourself. Enrol today!
The program is open to all the public. As a member of this community, it is important to be aware and educated about the world around you. Did you know that you can contact the Alzheimer Society to have a Public Education Coordinator come to your office and provide an educational overview of dementia?
West Toronto Support Services is hosting the Alzheimer Society for another interactive and useful Caregiver Workshop on the topic of brain health.
Come and learn about the risk factors of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and how to improve and maintain the health of the brain.
