As of January 1st, West Toronto Support Services (WTSS) and Humber Community Seniors’ Services (HCSS) have become one agency called West Toronto Support Services. We would like to thank our staff and volunteers for their dedication to clients and commitment to building an even stronger organization for the future. We look forward to continuing to work with our partners to improve the health and well-being of our communities and the clients and caregivers we are privileged to serve.
What changes can you expect?
There are in fact, little to no changes for clients using our services currently. The merged agency will continue to operate from the two existing sites – 1709 Bloor Street West and 1167 Weston Road. In the interim, clients can expect to continue to receive the same great service from our two agencies that they’ve come to expect.
You may also see new services or new programs offered online and in our newsletter over the months and we’ll be working hard to keep you informed.
Telephone numbers that you’ve been using to call HCSS or WTSS will remain the same for now, but we will be updating our directory in the near future.
As a result of the merger, we are making a change to our printed newsletter distribution—we will now be releasing them on a quarterly basis beginning with our February (Winter) issue. Future issues will be released in the Spring, Summer and Fall. You will continue to receive all our news and events and you can still subscribe to us online.
