For volunteers who have been a part of Humber Community Seniors’ Services (Humber site) prior to the agency merge, April 19th was an evening of saying “Thank you”!
The event is an annual tradition that reflects upon the many hours and skills that volunteers have contributed to the Humber site. Many volunteers have been with the agency for several decades including Bella Jane Smith who’s been giving back to her community for over 50 years. The Humber site has had a rich history of enlisting volunteers from the local community and engaging them in the agency. We would like to thank you all for your contributions and let you know you are valued. Without your dedication and commitment our services would not be possible. Thank you for volunteering!
The evening was served with a delicious lasagna meal, dessert and the DJ provided a karaoke and dancing experience.
The Volunteer Appreciation event was held on Thursday, April 19th at 1167 Weston Rd. The Bloor site will be hosting their appreciation event in June.
