As part of our continuing quality improvement, the Joint Health and Safety Committee have purchased and installed two Defibrillators.
AEDs are electronic devices used to restart a person’s heart if it has stopped beating and can help save lives if there are no emergency personnel present.
They are in the process of being installed and can be accessed at both our 1709 Bloor St. W. and 1167 Weston sites. The AEDs support the clients we serve in our Adult Day Service, as well as our staff and volunteers in the event of a medical emergency.
