Accessibility

Our offices and washrooms are wheelchair accessible.

The Customer Service Standard

This is the first standard developed under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA). It sets out the obligations for businesses and organizations to provide goods and services in a way that is accessible to people with disabilities.

West Toronto Support Services (WTSS) recognizes and understands that people have disabilities with different needs and has complied with the Customer Service Standard to ensure all people, communities and businesses can fully participate in our services.

To request a copy of our Accessibility Plan and/or Accessibility Report, please contact the Manager, Operations & Development at (416) 653.3535 Ext. 234.

Accessibility Plan

WTSS is dedicated to identifying and removing barriers that limit and restrict the ability of the individuals that we support from fully accessing any WTSS locations and the communities in our catchment area. As a result, WTSS has developed an Accessibility Plan is to identify and address accessibility issues at WTSS locations, as well as in the community.

Language Support

Where possible, we encourage clients to find someone who can interpret and advocate for them to make communication and delivery of services possible in a timely manner.

We also offer interpretation services over the phone in 170 different languages through a professional service.
